God's Mighty Hand

I wish I was writing this to say, we are one step closer in bringing kiddos home, but unfortunately we are not. Last Wednesday evening we were given the news that the two children we were hoping to have join our family were not able to be adopted due to having living relatives in Congo. Needless to say we were/are heartbroken. We have been as a family preparing ourselves to welcome these two children into our home and have already welcomed them into our hearts. We know that these two kiddos have become known to us for some reason, if for nothing else than to love them and pray for them the rest of their lives. So through many tears, prayers and conversations with family and friends, we are moving forward. What does this mean? Through some unfortunate circumstances, we have had to move from CCI to another agency. We are in the very beginning stages of this change. Through recommendations and research we have found another agency that we are very comfortable with and have programs that we are eligible for. Like I said, we are in the very early stages so when we are farther in, I will post our status. But in the meantime, we would covet your prayers for:

* Mine and Jason's daily surrender to God, His plan and His timing.
* Clarity in moving forward
* We will meet the requirements of the Board of Directors for the new agency/program/country/kiddos.

"You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength."
Isaiah 26:3-4
