On August 9, 2011, we heard the most beautiful words! "You are approved". Yay! We began a new process with a new agency on our adoption journey. We decided to pursue a sibling group of three from Haiti through our agencies waiting children program. So after more paperwork and telephone conversations with two separate social workers, our file was presented to the Family Selection Committee on August 4th. We received a call from our agency and they wanted more information, which I promptly emailed them. We anxiously waited for news over the weekend and on Tuesday, the 9th, we were selected! Now we are, again, pulling documents together for our dossier. Thankfully we had quite a bit in place, just need updating. So my hope is that our dossier will be in Haiti by the 1st of October.
We have been told that it could be a two year process, but we are praying for less. However, in saying that, God's timing us perfect. BUT, this momma is ready for my three beautiful kiddos to be home!
